Capcom May Make Lost Planet Film Announcement at E3
Joystiq, citing a source close to Capcom, is reporting that Capcom may be planning to make a film-related announcement at next week’s E3, noting that it would involve someone “well known to gamers.”
While the name of the franchise wasn’t mentioned, many are speculating that it will be Lost Planet. This is supported by the fact that veteran voice actor and screenwriter David Hayter recently revealed that his script for a big-screen adaptation of Lost Planet was almost done. He has worked as a scriptwriter on the first two X-Men films, as well as the upcoming superhero film Watchmen.
Hayter is better known to gamers as the voice of Solid Snake from the Metal Gear series.
