desktop_1024x768 As if the world really needed this game, Ubisoft today announced Hell’s Kitchen: The Video Game, based on the reality television show featuring notorious British chef Gordon Ramsay. It will offer gamers the chance to be berated by the chef just like a real contestant on the show and the chance to unlock genuine recipes.

In development for PC, Mac, Wii and DS, the game will have gamers prepare, cook and service customers, with the chef scoring each mean. Players will be rewarded with access to recipes from Ramsay’s own collection.

“Hell’s Kitchen has everything a great video game needs: pressure, excitement and intense competition,” said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft North America. “We are very excited to be bringing the intensity of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and the Hell’s Kitchen experience to the virtual world this fall.”

Hell’s Kitchen is slated for release this September. And no, there aren’t any multiplayer modes.
