HL2 Episode 3 Concept Art Uncovered

The first piece of concept art for the final episode of Half-Life 2 has been uncovered via the 2008 IntothePixel E3 art gallery. Created by Valve artists Ted Backman, Jeremy Bennett and Tristan Redford, the art shows series protagonist Gordon Freeman in a dangerous Citadel-like environment with an ominous Combine Advisor looming overhead.
The event’s website labels the art as related to Half-Life 2 Episode 3, with PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 listed as its platforms.
Valve has been silent on Episode 3 since the release of Episode 2 last year. The final installment will reportedly not be shown at E3 next week, though the company will be present with Left 4 Dead.
