Dragon Age To Be Most Emotionally Intense Bioware Game Ever

July 14th, 2008 Posted in Adventure, News, PC, RPG

While some games are content merely to amuse and entertain, some like to pull at your heart strings with believeable characters, quality writing and excellent voice acting. Bioware is notoriously good at making the latter kinds. Their upcoming PC RPG Dragon Age: Origins is claiming to be the “most emotionally intense experience we’ve ever created” according to Bioware reps.

As with most games it promises to be ‘epic’, although given Bioware’s track record it’s likely anything but an empty boast. Amongst its features include “scalable party-based combat”, a magic system that allows players to use spells in concert to sometimes unexpected effects, deep customization options including the choice of where your character comes fromĀ and a storyline that forces you to choose sides. It also promises a dark, gritty tone aimed directly at adult gamers. Look for it in on the PC in early 2009.
