E3 2008: Miyamoto Hints at New Zelda, Mario and Pikmin

Yep that’s right, Shigeru Miyamoto was recently quoted at E3 in an IGN interview noting that we can expect new Zelda and Pikmin titles on the Wii and a New Super Mario Bros. sequel for the DS.

Mr. Miyamoto goes on to say that the original teams that worked on the previous titles will be returning to work on the latest additions.

Not much more detail was given on the new titles but from the looks of it, it shouldn’t be too long before we hear more from Nintendo about the latest additions to the Mario, Zelda, and Pikmin franchises.
