New Halo Game In The Works

After Bungie dissapointed fans by not showing up to E3 they’ll be perking spirits up amongst Halo fans everywhere (cue comment thread war about why Halo is the best series ever/why it’s terrible and overrated). There’s a new Halo game in the works at Bungie. It’s not just Halo Wars either. Here’s a snippet from the MTV Multiplayer blog where this news originated:

I asked for clarification, wondering if Mattrick meant Bungie’s project was “Halo Wars” or the long-announced Peter Jackson “Halo” project. Neither, Mattrick said. The Bungie game is something else.
