E3 2008: Guitar Hero World Tour Gets YouTube-like Service

gh wt Following details of backwards compatibility and music creation, Activision revealed that Guitar Hero World Tour will get a YouTube-like service enabling players to share created songs with the community.

Simply dubbed GH Tunes, the service will allow players to create album art for their works; songs shared via the service will be ranked based on popularity.

The company additionally announced that the game will feature a full-blown custom character creation engine seen in Rock Band.
