E3 2008: New Animal Crossing Announced

Nintendo has announced Animal Crossing: City Folk, the upcoming entry in the relaxed simulation series.

The game will feature actual seasons, with days passing in real-time. Up to four people can form a household and work together to build the perfect town. Friends can be invited to visit your town through Nintendo Wi-fi Connection, and with the new WiiSpeak microphone, you’ll be able to speak to them in real-time.

The game is due out this Holiday season exclusively for the Wii.
