E3 2008: Gears of War 2 Gets Hollywood Composer

gears-of-war-2-10 Cliff Bleszinski announced at E3 that composer Steve Jablonsky (Transformers) is scoring the music for Gears of War 2, Epic Games’ upcoming blockbuster third-person shooter.

Jablonsky is a celebrated composer in Hollywood, best known for his collaboration with Michael Bay on major movies like The Island and Transformers. His game credits include Transformers: The Game, Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.

Gears of War 2 is due out this November.
