E3 2008: Project Origin Details

A list of details on Project Origin, the upcoming sequel to F.E.A.R. have been issued by developer Monolith.

The game begins shortly after the ending of the first, following a Special Forces squad on a routine mission when the city of Auburn is rocked by a supernatural explosion.

Key features of the game include strategic environmental combat, bullet-time, new enemies, new characters, interactive world to create instant cover or remove obstacles, enhanced graphics and more.

The game will also feature extensive multiplayer modes, though those weren’t detailed.

Project Origin is in development for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 for release later this year.
