Casual Games Lead 33% Sales Jump for Ubi

ubisoft_logo_1 Proving that casual gaming is indeed strong, Ubisoft’s Games for Everyone casual gaming brands led a 33% jump in sales growth for the company’s 2008 fiscal year first quarter. Sales for the quarter amounted to 169 million Euros, a 33% increase over 134 million Europs last year.

The publisher noted that its Games for Everyone brands represented around 33% of Q1 sales. Haze, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 were also cited as major contributions to the sales boost.
