EA has announced that the promised Conquest mode expansion for Battlefield: Bad Company will be released as a free download this Thursday. It will be made available through both Xbox Live and PlayStation Store, offering the traditional Battlefield multiplayer mode that made the series so famous.

The player’s objective is to reduce a team’s ticket count by killing foes and capturing control points. It will be playable online across four Gold Rush maps.
