Blizzard Wants Your Friends to Play WoW, Too

August 6th, 2008 Posted in MMO, Online, PC by Jeff Baker

With great games like Age of Conan on the rise its no wonder that Blizzard wants to secure their seat as the top dog in terms of MMOs. Well,  their latest campaign won’t only benefit them, but you as well.

Blizzard has recently launched “recruit a friend” a new feature that allows you to gain various rewards once you get your friends to play. Get your friend to play for 30 days and you yourself get 30 days of added play time, get them to play for 60 days and you will get the exclusive Zhevra mount. Not only this, but actually playing with your friend will give you an extra 3x XP multiplier.

With over 10 million subscribers world wide and the Wrath of the Lich King expansion on its way,  it doesn’t look as if World of Warcraft is going away anytime soon.
