Next Medal of Honor Game Set in Afghanistan?

August 10th, 2008 Posted in Action, FPS, PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 by Rajiv Ashrafi

medal-of-honor-heroes-1 On French site Jeuxvideo is word of what they believe to be the next Medal of Honor game. A poorly translated version of the site notes the next installment’s name to be Medal of Honor: Operation Anaconda, which will follow CoD 4’s lead and leave World War 2 territory in favor of modern combat.

The setting is said to be set in 2002 Afghanistan and is supposedly based on an actual operation. The report is yet to be confirmed by EA, but if true, it would be pretty cool.
