60GB Xbox 360 Hits Europe this Friday

Europe may be the last to get the good stuff, but they aren’t too behind when it comes to new 60GB Xbox 360 edition, which, Microsoft announced, will launch in the region this Friday for the same price as the phased-out 20GB version - 199 GBP.

It will complement the entry-level Arcade SKU – 159 GBP – which doesn’t come with any hard drive; the Elite SKU retails for 259 GBP and includes a 120GB hard drive.

“No one device offers the depth and breadth of entertainment that Xbox 360 can deliver and we know consumers need increasingly more and more space to store the amazing digital entertainment content we provide,” said Neil Thompson, senior regional director for Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices Division. “Now the Xbox 360 has triple the space to house all your entertainment needs at no extra cost.”
