Penny Arcade Making Fallout Comics

August 14th, 2008 Posted in Culture, News, Offbeat, PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 by Will Prusik

The kings of gaming comics; Penny Arcade; have been asked (and paid) by many companies over the years to make some comic strips to promote their games. The strips they’ve made run the gamut from more serious in tone to the hilarity and sarcastic wit that we’ve all come to know and love from the delightful twosome. The latest project they’ve done is a twelve-strip series for Fallout 3, with a new strip being released every wednesday. Just a warning though, if you haven’t played the second game through to the end there’s a bit of a spoiler regarding the vaults. If you’re a seasoned Fallout 2 veteran or just don’t really mind spoilers, be sure to check out the hilarious tale of Vault 77 and its lone inhabitant.
