Coming as a surprise announcement, Criterion Games sent out word that Burnout Paradise will hit the PlayStation Network this Fall as a downloadable title. It will be priced at $29.99 and will include all of the features and content included in its retail release, which hit store shelves earlier this year.

The game will be the first to make the leap as a downloadable game following a traditional retail release. Burnout Paradise has seen much support from the developer in the form of several content updates throughout the year, which saw the inclusion of new online game modes and introduced motorcycles to the game.

A PC version of the game is currently in development.
