Mega Man 9 Story Details

After a series of relatively unimpressive hand held titles Mega Man is returning to his roots. While I enjoyed the actual battle system behind the various Battle Network titles, running around doing random things in the real world got boring rather quickly. Instead of assisting a young boy Mega Man will be returning to his true duties: saving the world from Dr. Wily’s evil robots. Capcom has released a few details on the plot of Mega Man 9.

As usual it seems that all is well in the world. Mega Man has brought peace to all the corners of the Earth, but as indicated by the number ‘9′ in the title it’s always a temporary state of affairs. Once again robots all over the world go on a berserk rampage. Unfortunately Dr. Wiley has a stroke of genius and frames Dr. Light for the problems. Of course the public proves gullible as the police take the good doctor to jail. Mega Man is of course left to clean up the mess and prove Dr. Light’s innocence.
