Most of the Wii peripherals are the basic white of the console, but Nintendo has a definite product strategy that involves lots of colors. There are some colored Wiimote covers available, but most everything else is cased in the same simple white plastic. The DS is available in almost all the colors of the rainbow with more coming out every year. Their newest first party product is an odd addition to the relatively bland appearance of the console. They’re releasing a set of colored Wiimote wrist straps in blue, green, pink and white. They’ll be available this September in Japan starting at 300 yen (about $3) for one or 1,000 yen ($10) for the set of four.
