In surprising news, EA sent out word that it will release Dead Space, its highly anticipated space survival horror game, one week before its previously scheduled release date of October 31.
The company noted that development of the game at EA Redwood Shores finished ahead of schedule, with the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions shipping October 24. However, the PC version is still set for release on October 31.
