August 29th, 2008 Posted in Action, FPS, PC, Xbox 360 by Rajiv Ashrafi

l4d-horde Some new details on the downloadable content for Left 4 Dead have been revealed by its writer Chet Faliszek. The writer notes that Valve plans to add new scenarios to the game’s initial four, as well as new bosses and weapons. A flamethrower is also hinted at.

Faliszek also promised that the studio aims to make the DLC available more quickly than what they have done with Team Fortress 2. Valve also plans on offering dedicated servers for Xbox Live players, meaning that gamers will see better performance in multiplayer sessions than other Xbox Live games. However, no further details were given.

The game will also make concessions for console players, featuring less aggressive enemies and a ‘180 turn’ button to help turn around faster.

Left 4 Dead hits PC and Xbox 360 on November 18.
