Molyneux Gives Fable II 9/10

September 2nd, 2008 Posted in Action, Adventure, News, RPG, Xbox 360 by Will Prusik

I find myself hoping that I will agree with Molyneux’s obviously biased rating for the upcoming sandbox RPG as the previews and interviews surrounding the first title showed incredible potential. Unfortunately in many ways it fell short of the mark, but the developer seems confident that he’s done exactly what he set out to when he conceptualized the idea with its sequel. “Black & White, The Movies, Dungeon Keeper, pretty much every game I’ve ever done has had interesting features thrown in to the pot without worrying what the flavour was like,” he said in an interview with Xbox World 360. He calls Fable II the ‘best and most complete game’ he’s ever worked on, continuing to boast that “the look is perfect, the interface is fantastic.”
