Fully accessorizing the PS3, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan today announced the official PS3 wireless headset, which will be available in Japan on October 30.
The device will allow gamers to communicate with each other through the PlayStation Network for up to eight hours on a single charge; it can be charged via USB. It sports a noise canceling feature and allows users to bring up an on-screen indicator showing battery charge, volume levels, connection quality and more.
The headset joins the PS3 wireless keypad as part of its push to offer easier communication methods for PS3 gamers. It is expected to retail in Japan for about $50; European and North American availability is expected soon after its Japanese debut.
