There was much speculation over when exactly a beta for LittleBigPlanet would hit the PSN but it seems that a developer over at the Playstation Forums, who goes by the name of Sam_Protagonist, has cleared that up for us with the following statement:

There will be a limited public beta test for LittleBigPlanet in September. If it will be possible to “sign up” for this test, full information on how to do so will be made public in advance of the test. Similarly if the test is going to be conducted in an invitation-only we will let you know ahead of time.

So that’s it folks, all you could do now is sit tight and keep checking DigitalBattle until we give you instructions on how to sign up for the beta.
