Make LittleBigPlanet Level, Get Job!

September 3rd, 2008 Posted in PlayStation 3 by Rajiv Ashrafi

Those looking to test their creativity skills in LittleBigPlanet might find themselves getting a reward in the form of a job if game producer Pete Smith is correct.

Speaking to CVG, Smith said that the team at Media Molecule plan to closely watch the game’s user-created level marketplace for talented designers.

“We will be aware of who those awesome designers are and certainly there’s the potential to get them building levels as part of [the] team,” he said

He noted two possibilities of recruiting and rewarding players. One would be to get the “top ten guys and commission them to make some amazing stuff for us,” he noted, additionally pointing out that if someone is lucky enough he/she might become a real game designer.

LittleBigPlanet is expected to hit the PS3 exclusively next month. It is being prepped as a big title by Sony.
