September 4th, 2008 Posted in Action, MMO, PC by Rajiv Ashrafi

The Multiverse Network today announced plans to create a massively multiplayer online PC game inspired by the popular television series created by Joss Whedon – Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The game is said to be playable in both a 2D flash and 3D environment, and will be set after the conclusion of the series, which saw the Slayer power spread to all potential women across the globe.

No release date was specified, but the title is expected to hit beta this year.

Meanwhile, Whedon’s other series, Firefly, has been delayed by the development of the Buffy MMO. Heck, even in cyberspace Firefly is dissed!
