Smith Reveals First-person RPG

harveysmithmontreal2007 Reporting on Harvey Smith’s keynote at the AGDC Game Career Summit, Gamasutra notes that the former Origin, ION Storm and Midway designer revealed an unnamed immersive first-person RPG that he has been working on at Arkane Austin.

Smith noted that his “focus is very much around games like Deus Ex,” pointing out that his studio “Arkane as a company is very focused on immersive first-person experiences.”

While no details were given, the site later spoke to him, finding out that the project is in the vein of Deus Ex and Thief: Deadly Shadows.
