Blue Dragon Heads to DS

blue dragon plus Ignition Entertainment today announced that it is going to release Blue Dragon Plus, a DS entry in the action-RPG series, in North America and Europe in March 2009.

Taking its cue from the Xbox 360 title, the game will take palce one year after the conclusion of the original, offering 30 hours of gameplay and one hour of dual-screen FMV cut-scenes.

There will be character progression, robot customizations and more alongside a real-time battle system. It is being directed by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi.
