Fable 2 Gone Gold

If you’ve been reading my posts you must have discovered by now that I am a fervent Fable fan. I’ve been posting on everything from online co-op to the first whiff of Master Chiefdom to be included in the RPG title. Nothing I’ve reported on gives me greater pleasure than this: Fable 2 has gone gold. It’ll be on our shelves in time for the October 21st North America release date and October 24th in Europe.

The official development blog revealed that the fine folks at Lionhead know how to celebrate: “Most of us are feeling a bit worse for wear today, the drinks in the local pub were (hopefully) only the beginning of a lot of celebrations!! I’d like to again congratulate everyone on the team for finishing this game.”

I’m guessing someone got “The Party Animal” added to their list of achievements, and the game isn’t even available yet.
