Call of Duty 5 System Requirements
The system requirements for the PC version of Call of Duty: World at War – the fifth entry in the series – has been released by developer Treyarch. Though powered by the COD4 engine, the studio noted that they were able to squeeze some more performance out of it, hence the lower requirements.
Processor: AMD 64 3200+/Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz or better
Memory: 8 GB free hard-drive space, 512MB RAM (XP)/1GB RAM (Vista)
Graphics: Shader 3.0 or better, 256MB Nvidia GeForce 6600GT/ATI Radeon 1600XT or better
The game is due out November 11 on a variety of platforms, including current-gen and past-gen consoles.

Nothing is compatible with my Vista – I can’t even use iTunes! So this will probably be a blue screen bonanza – I hadn’t thought of this til I saw your comment either. Now I’m worried!

I have a Pentium Pro 166Mhz non-MMX, with 64 MBs of RAM, a 4 gig Harddrive, Voodoo3 2000 16MB graphics card, and a Creative Soundblaster soundcard. Can I run COD5 with smooth frame rates?
In all seriousness, why don’t you guys download the demo and see how it runs, before asking if the full version plays smooth.

How about dont buy call of duty for the pc because no matter how good your computer/laptop is it will never work 100%. There will always be something wrong with it.
How about go down to a game exchange place, pick up a cheap xbox360 for 80 odd quid and buy cod5 for about 30 quid and pull your pants down and you’ll have a great laugh!!!
