DICE to Take Aspects of Mirror’s Edge to Battlefield

September 25th, 2008 Posted in Action, FPS, PC by Rajiv Ashrafi

dice_logo DICE is known best for its Battlefield franchise which has been its bread-and-butter until Mirror’s Edge came along. Now, it appears that the studio will take some aspects of ME to the next Battlefield game. This will come in the form of the game’s sense of “physicality”.

Says DICE’s Owen O’Brien: “I’m not sure [about] wall-running, but certainly the others — certainly the sense of physicality in the world: the running, jumping, vaulting, [and] sliding…I think, yeah, we will definitely try to incorporate them into future Battlefield games.”

That’d be pretty cool. Awesome destruction combined with agile moves? Count me in for the next Battlefield!
