Riddick Game Remake ‘Just About Done’
Without a doubt the most successful and surprisingly good video game adaptations was The Chronicles of Riddick for the original Xbox. Its quality graphics and effective combination of melee combat, stealth action and FPS controls made it a quick favorite.
Many were excited when it was announced that a remake would be coming to the Xbox 360. More than just a port, it’s a true remake: they’re upgrading all the visuals and tacking on extra content. Unfortunately the title was without a publisher after Activision and Vivendi games’ merger, but it seems all hope has not been lost yet.
The game is still under production at Swedish developer Starbreeze Studios. Not only is it underway, it’s nearly finished according to the official website.
