tomb raider underworld
The battle for platform-exclusive downloadable content continues as Eidos today announced that those who buy the Xbox 360 version of Tomb Raider: Underworld, the upcoming entry in the adventure franchise that recently got a reboot, will be treated to exclusive DLC that will add a total of six hours to the game.

There will be two chapters, with the first set after the game’s conclusion. Dubbed “Beneath the Ashes”, it will add a new environment and enemies to the game, and will be available “in time for the holidays.’ The second chapter is dubbed “Lara’s Shadows” and will interestingly add a “new kind of playable character.” It is set to jump its way to Xbox Live sometime early next year.

No price point was mentioned for either episode.

Tomb Raider: Underworld hits PC, PS2, PSP, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS on November 18.
