Blizzard is where they money’s at – well, at least that’s the vibe they put on as they announced StarCraft 2 would be split up into a trilogy. But the company redeemed itself a tiny little bit today, as they announced that they will go “big” on all three races.
"We’re talking about 26-30 missions for each chapter of the trilogy, more cutscenes, more interactive elements, and campaign choices that become more meaningful," said Blizzard PR rep Bob Colayco.
As for the release of the trilogy, he noted that the studio will take “as long as we need”, adding that “with any luck, it would be like a year for each successive one.”
The first chapter in the trilogy is due sometime in 2009.
