The Conduit Gets Herculean Voice Acting

October 14th, 2008 Posted in Action, News, Wii by Will Prusik

High Voltage Software has announced that in addition to visuals that are far more advanced than anything the Wii has had to date they’re bringing some experienced voice talent to upcoming shooter The Conduit.

Voicing the mildly cliche-looking hero, Ford, is British actor and musician Mark A Sheppard. Mr. Sheppard is no stranger to science fiction work, having made appearances on Battlestar Galactica, Firefly and the Bionic Woman.

William Morgan Sheppard brings his own considerable talent and experience to the character of John Adams. The second Sheppard is no stranger to science fiction either, having appeared on episodes of Star Trek TNG, Babylon 5 and he played roles in both Star Trek VI and Transformers. He also voiced characters in games prior to this for Metal Gear Solid 2, The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay and several Medal of Honor titles.

Last but certainly not least is Kevin Sorbo, an American actor whose first big role was in many ways his last big role: that of Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. He’s reportedly very excited about the game and has some sci-fi background due to his role on the short-lived television series Andromeda.
