PSP 3000 Sells 140K in Four Days
As the top three consoles jockey for position in various markets, countries and continents, the handheld market laughs at their pitiful sales numbers. Both the DS and the PSP have been outselling their TV-bound counterparts by leaps and bounds.
The new model of Sony’s handheld, the PSP 3000, is doing just as well. It was released in Japan on October 16th and then four days later sales figures for it are a staggering 141,270 units sold in Japan. It’s also lending momentum to sales for the PSP 1000 and PSP 2000. The combined sales for the old units is 155,720 over the last week.
