Japan Getting Games Bundled With Xbox 360

October 22nd, 2008 Posted in Business, News, Xbox 360 by Will Prusik

Is anyone else starting to feel a little envious of Japan? They get first whack at a lot of games, a wide array of colors for their consoles/handhelds that rarely ever make it stateside and now they’re getting a fairly decent package all because they haven’t been buying enough Xboxes to make Microsoft happy.

Starting November 6th anyone who buys an Xbox 360 Standard Model (the 60 gigabyte hard drive version) gets a copy of Ace Combat 6 and Katamari Damacy. Best of all (if you’re in Japan anyways) the cost doesn’t go up a single yen. The console with games still retails at 29,800 yen.
