Bethesda Responds to Fallout 4 Speculation

Following up on this report that suggested Bethesda could release Fallout 4 by 2011, marketing VP Pete Hines labeled the speculation as “jumping to conclusions, and then some” adding that a more “accurate headline would probably be, ‘Fallout 4 before 2018,’ since that’s what he really said (10 years is too long).”
He, of course, refers to executive producer Todd Howard who noted his belief that a three year span between games was good.
However, it has to be noted that Howard did not specifically mention Fallout 4, suggesting that his quote may have been taken out of context. It could also refer to the next major game from Bethesda, which could be Elder Scrolls V or a completely new franchise.
