It’s sad to point out how console gaming has turned into PC gaming, what with huge day one patches coming out now, but that’s not my job. My job is to report that Lionhead is working on fixing game-breaking bugs in Fable 2, which was released just a couple of days ago.
Following complaints about freezing glitches, lost experience points, missing gold and more, the studio responded that it is “watching and listening to you [the fans], and are looking into all serious issues that are bought to our attention.”
"Some things slip through the net during development, especially when a game is the size and scope of Fable II," Lionhead noted. "Again, we can only apologise for this issue, but we are doing our best."
No release date was given for the patch.

2its ridiculous that lionhead released fable 2 wih so many bugs i myself cant play 1 of my heroes because it froze by the sculptor in oakfield and every time i load it the screen goes black and my other hero cant complete the “love hurts” quest because i cant hand in the head of lady gray. I really hope lionhead fixes this frigging soon.

3Yeah, I was pretty psyched for this game.. and playing through it, I’m very disappointed. There are so many glitches in this game, that its almost like it didn’t even go through their Quality Assurance people. I can’t complete the “Love Hurts” Quest because Victor won’t let me talk to him to finish it. And unfortunately, I saved it -after- it glitched. I can’t even do Co Op mode because for some reason I cannot connect to any xbox live friends. Someone obviously fell asleep at their desk and its disappointing that Lionhead isn’t putting out a patch to fix at least SOME of the fu**ing glitches. After I complete the main quest, I’m selling the game. What a waste of fucking money.

4You know I’ve played through the game twice and haven’t had any game-breaking glitches. The only one I had was freezing during a loading screen, which only ever occurred once. If that’s the case, it’s apparent that the game’s bugs are random and have no definitive way of happening, which makes the glitches difficult to spot. So while it isn’t any good that Lionhead seemed to have released it just a tad early, the random glitches a few people have been experiencing is no reason to degrade the game’s overall excellent quality.
