Europe’s Xbox Live boss told website CVG that only half of the content that Microsoft wanted to fit into the ‘Next Xbox Experience’ before the November 19th launch date made it in. Jerry Johnson said that they have plans to add in many more applications to the update after its release.

Many of the applications seem designed to appeal to the more casual gamer, including a ‘Photo Party’ application and ‘Xbox Live Primetime’, a facet of the update that Johnson has confirmed to be launching in 2009. It will bring online, server based ‘game show’ style games to Xbox live. He also said: “I think we’re going to see more social, more content-type apps,” indicating that the NXE will be focusing more on things to appeal to the non-gamer.
