No Hellgate Expansion in US, EU

hellgate londonFollowing word than an expansion to Hellgate: London is in the works at HanbitSoft, Namco Bandai announced that gamers in North America and EU won’t be able to play the expansion as they own publishing rights in these regions.

"Hanbit owns the IP and rights to publish anywhere other then the US and EU … NAMCO owns the rights to publish in the US and EU," wrote a Namco Bandai representative on the game’s forums.

The company additionally noted that servers for the game will go down after January 31, 2009.

"The servers will never exist in the US and EU again. Hanbit ak a Redbanana can not have servers in the US or EU."
