Project Triforce Releasing Full Size Lancer, Drone Bust

If you’re a collectible junkie you might want to start saving your pennies now because two pieces of limited edition swag are coming out from Gears of War 2 and they’re impressive with an appropriately sized price tag. Officially licensed replica manufacturer Project Triforce is creating both a Drone bust and a Lancer.
The Drone bust is an impressive sight, nineteen inches tall and weighing fifteen pounds. It’s a true 1:1 scale (well to scale for something that doesn’t really exist) and features impressive detail. It was sculpted by Chris Perna, art director for Epic Games and painted by Jordu Schell a special effects artist and creature creator. It’s currently got a price tag of $549.99.
The Lancer is also a true 1:1 scale, made of high quality polyurethane and resin with a functional handle grip for the chainsaw bayonet and a barrel made of machined aluminum. It will feature LEDs to improve the appearance of realism, with the design for the replica being pulled straight from the original 3-D file. It’s twelve inches tall, five inches wide and thirty-seven inches long, a massive collectors item. If you’re drooling right now you’ll be sad to know it’s got a massive price tag: $949.99. Both items are set to ship fourth quarter 2008. Just an FYI, the pictures are taken from the company’s website but they are pictures of the prototypes. The final product could differ somewhat.
