Official: Dead Rising 2 in Development

dr2-copy A sequel to the beloved zombie bashing title Dead Rising has been confirmed to be in development at Blue Castle, a Vancouver-based studio.

Eurogamer cites an anonymous source inside the studio, noting that “everyone’s really excited… it’s been hard to keep quiet, but they can’t wait to show off the game.” He wouldn’t offer a date for the public unveiling, though.

The original Dead Rising was released back in 2006 to both critical and commercial success on the Xbox 360. Capcom recently announced a Wii version of the game and has suggested that more titles are in development.
