It’s going to be a damn busy week for Rock Band fans, as Harmonix has announced that a variety of songs will be released as downloadable content, including music from punk rockers The Dead Kennedys and Mission of Burma, as well as some from heavy metal ladies.
“California Uber Alles”, “Holiday in Cambodia” and “Police Truck” from The Dead Kennedys and “Mica”, “That’s How I Escaped My Certain Fate” and “That’s When I Reach for My Revolver” from Mission of Burma will be released as packs for 440 Microsoft points ($5.50) each; individual songs can be bought for 160 points ($2) each.
The other three songs are “Forever” from In This Moment, “Closer” and “Swamped” from Lacuna Coil, both female-fronted heavy metal bands. There’s also a single piece of music from Crooked X in the form of “Gone”.
All tracks are masters and will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace on November 18, with PS3 owners getting it two days later.
