Jumping on the DLC bandwagon is the upcoming Prince of Persia title which apparently has a significant amount of downloadable content being made for it, according to Ubi producer Ben Mattes.

“We certainly have plans for downloadable content, [but] we can’t really say more than that right now,” he said. “The intention is to do downloadable content that adds significant value, so I don’t think you’ll see downloadable content of a new skin or a new weapon or something like that.”

He goes on to note that it is “going to be a new story, a new experience, maybe a prequel, maybe a sequel.” While no release date was promised, he stated that it simply won’t be out this year.

The game itself will be made available on PS3 and Xbox 360 on December 5; a PC version will hit on the following week.
