If you’ve been waiting to jump on the Playstation 3 bandwagon but still haven’t been able to justify that high price, now’s your chance. Amazon recently released a promotion where people can vote which SKU they want to be sold at the lower price in an attempt to be eligble for said lower price.

500 consoles will be given away at the discounted price, ranging from $100 to $229. You can get in on the vote at the official page, here. Oh, and this discount starts on Black Friday, duh!

I was screwed out of a $78 ps3 (thanks John D), the new model, because the seller on amazon took it off. This was after I paid and everything, I was so pissed, and Amazon didn’t even want to honor the price, they simply wanted me to consider it a isolated incident and continue spending countless dollars on their website, but its complete BS. You shouldn’t be able to make a purchase AT ALL, if a product is unavailable. When you buy it, you should receive it.
