PS3 Rumors: Price Cut, God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 Trailers
A new rumor based on an internal Sony briefing has popped up online, giving out Sony’s plans for 2009, which, as it stands, is quite a lot.
First off, the company plans on lowering the price of the PS3 after March 2009, keeping in line with Sony’s repeated denial of giving the console a price cut this year. No price point was given, but a $50 (or more) cut is certainly welcome.
Moving on to games, the company showed off an unannounced sequel to Uncharted in trailer form, alongside Killzone 2 and God of War 3.
Uncharted 2 apparently looks the same as the original, but this time with Aztecs in it. A description of the God of War 3 trailer is making the rounds on the web, with the attendee noting that it wasn’t clear whether the trailer was cinematic or gameplay, though he adds that it featured moments that resembled gameplay, but that the graphics was so good, it was hard to differentiate between the two.
God of War 3 is due out sometime next year exclusively on PS3.
