PS3 Destroy All Humans Not Cancelled in Europe

December 1st, 2008 Posted in Action, Adventure, News, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 by Will Prusik

While an unspecified development error caused THQ to axe the release of Destroy All Humans: Path of the Furon on the PS3 in North America, effectively making the title an Xbox 360 exclusive THQ has announced that it won’t be so elsewhere. The game is set to ship in North American December 2nd which left very little time to fix the issue they were having.

The title isn’t releasing in Europe until next year so THQ has announced that the PS3 version of the game will be released as originally planned on February 13th. It seems somewhat strange that the company wouldn’t simply announce a delay of the release of the PS3 version but with the title going up against a bevy of highly anticipated games early next year it could be that THQ feels the marketing necessary to get a second launch of the game would cost more than the PS3 version would take in.
