Ghosbusters Gets Release Date

December 2nd, 2008 Posted in Action, Adventure, News, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360 by Will Prusik

If busting makes you feel good then you’ll be excited to hear that in the Summer of 2009 the game that Atari picked up after the Blizzard/Activision merger will be released. In a time when retro things are are all the rage it seems appropriate to release a video game that continues a story begun in the early 1980s, the decade from which many nostalgias spring.

Here’s hoping for some rainy weather because Ghostbusters: The Video Game is going to be released in the warmest months of next year. The title reunites many of the key players from the films for the first time in twenty years and promises to be a true continuation of the series with the script having been penned by the original writers and actors, Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis.
