Wii eBay’s Top Searched Product On Black Friday

While the roads, stores and shopping malls were clogged with eager bargain hunters on Black Friday at often ridiculously early hours many were sitting at home avoiding the frenzy of angry consumers. Many hit up their preferred shopping websites with a left over turkey leg in one hand and a mouse in the other. Unfortunately online stores can often be out of stock of certain things: like the Nintendo Wii.

Many are turning to eBay to find their friends/nephews/grandchildren their wished for gift. On Black Friday the console was the most searched-for product. Someone is making quite a profit too as 3,171 of the consoles were sold for an average of $349 each, $100 more than its selling price. Nintendo promises to show a good profit this holiday season as WiiFit held the number two spot on the ‘most searched’ list with over a thousand units sold the same day.
